The 9th annual Dorothy Awards will take place Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Fantasia in North Haven.
Tickets are $100, but tickets purchased before February 1 can be purchased for the early bird price of $75 per ticket.
This year's honorees include Pedro Segarra, the mayor of Hartford; Diana M. Richter, Ph.D., executive director of the Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen; Robin Banks, entertainer and fundraiser; and Out Film CT, which runs the annual Connecticut Gay & Lesbian Film Festival.
Interviews with our honorees, along with additional information about the event, will be added as the event approaches.

The Pride Center has scheduled a series of volunteer meetings; this is one of the easiest ways to get involved with the Center! Meetings are scheduled for Feb. 1, 6, 13, 22 and 27, all starting at 6:30 and taking place at the Pride Center at 14 Gilbert St. in West Haven.
