Free BOSU Fitness Classes return to the Center for just 6 weeks, beginning Tuesday, January 8, at 6:30pm! Classes will focus on use of the BOSU balance trainer. What's a BOSU? Take a look at the BOSU balance trainer here, and then make an early New Year's resolution to get in shape now!
The BOSU balance trainer facilitates functional balance training. Demands placed on the body during stability training replicate daily life and sport conditions. This 6 week program will introduce you to the many applications of the BOSU balance trainer such as: static/dynamic incorporating some yoga poses, agility, and plyometrics. The agility and plyometric sections will help to restore that flexibility you had as a child by recreating those movements. Classes will be an hour long and geared to all abilities. Wear loose, comfortable clothes and sneakers for the balance trainer.
BOSU balance trainers will be available for each class attendee, but attendance is limited to 8 students. Pre-registration is required! These classes are free, but donations are appreciated!
