The New Haven Pride Center is pleased to offer a Pathways Series of workshops, beginning this Thursday, January 12! The Pathways Series is designed for personal growth and development.

Luis Avilez, who has been leading our "Yoga at the Pride Center" series, will be leading this series as well.

We invite you to join Luis, for the first in this series: "Interpersonal Relationships", on Thursday, January 12, at 6:30pm, at the Pride Center.

Here is a brief description of what you can expect of this first class:

I believe that every single person we meet has the potential to deeply inspire us.  Some people we deal with brighten our day, some we don't look forward to so much.  I invite you to a class that will explore the relationship between what we think and how we feel about our interactions.  We will also be looking into the nature of what attracts people to one another, how residual anger or resentment plays a role in our future relationships and why the power of speech is so important. You will also learn some easy techniques to deal with stress, social pressure and problem solving.  Lots of fun stuff! I hope to see you there.

Click here to see this event on our calendar. RSVP by sending an e-mail to nhglcc@gmail.com, or via our Facebook event page here. The workshop is free, but donations are appreciated!
