About the Event
Description: Stitch & Bitch is a casual crafting circle at the New Haven Pride Center. Bring whatever you're working on, whether it's knitting, crochet, embroidery, cross-stitch, or mending; and settle in for good company and good conversation.
The steady, repetitive rhythm of handwork calms the mind and gives you something to focus on besides your worries, and every finished row is a real accomplishment. Busy hands also make conversation easier. You can talk, listen, or just stitch alongside other people, and it all counts as connection.
All skill levels are welcome, from first-timers to seasoned crafters happy to share what they know.
When: 1st and 3rd Thursdays, 6–8pm
