Our Mission
The New Haven Pride Center is a community focused non-profit organization co-creating a space to empower Greater New Haven LGBTQIA+ individuals to not just survive, but thrive and uplift each other and our voices. We do this by providing essential case management, support, educational and cultural programming that stands at the intersection of advocacy, arts, and community. We champion collective impact through collaboration with other statewide and regional organizations.

Support Services
Creating a safe space for case management and other support services is a priority. We're making sure that our community is clothed, fed, has access to basic hygiene products, and any other basic needs from our community support.

Advocacy and Education
Through awareness building and empowering programs, we prepare our community for the future so they can thrive and not just survive. Our educational and advocacy-related programs strengthen our community’s ability to stand together and create lasting change.

Bringing Community Together
We strive to create a space where our community can connect with one another, have new experiences, and support each other. We work on programming to help combat loneliness within our community.

LGBTQ+ Youth Empowerment
We work closely with other local LGBTQ+ organizations to support our local CT queer and transgender youth. We offer specific programming to help educate our youth of their rights, uplift them within their lives, as well as reassure they are supported and loved.
