Come out to enjoy an afternoon hosted by the iconic Xiomarie Labeija, along with a DJ circle led by DJ Concón, live music, dancing, drag performances, larger-than-life puppets, spoken word, games for kids & adults, a Health & Wellness Village, dozens of queer vendors, food trucks, local restaurants and bars, a beer tent from Armada Brewing, chill spaces, and more!
And after the party, afterparties! Stay tuned for updates on specific performers during the day, and a whole mess of afterparties afterward!

Xiamarie LaBeija!
The queen of spreading the good word of “Love”! Xiomarie has been an artist all their life but has been doing the art of drag roughly over 15 years. Working within the community and beyond, Xiomarie has made a name for herself. Whether it’s the Queen for the people or CTs Plus Size Dancing Diva, or even Mother as she is the Founder & Proud Mother of the CT Chapter of LaBeija, she always strives for what’s best. Xiomarie is a proud plus size AfroLatina whose message to the community and the world is to always “Move from a place of love!” and also “Representation Matters!”
Spotlight on DJ Concón
and The DJ Circle!
DJ Concón is a New Haven, CT-based DJ who uses his mixes to explore where people and their cultures meet through music. Like their namesake rice dish suggests, DJ Concón keeps crowds stuck to the dancefloor by fusing together the sounds of Dembow, Ballroom, Miami Bass, Rap, Afrobeats, Merengue, House, and more, into mixes that offer a little something for everyone to enjoy.
The DJ Circle is a free, community learning space for DJs of all levels to meet and share the knowledge, support, and confidence needed to take up space and express themselves. Our community is made up of around 20 local DJs, many of whom play at gigs around New Haven or are just starting their DJ journeys.
Parking
Parking is available at a variety of garages and streets, including:
State Street Parking Garage (282 State St.)
Crown Street Parking Garage (213 Crown St.)
Temple Street Garage (1 Temple St.)
LAZ Parking - George Street Garage (81 George St.)
Lot between State and Fair Street (Pass Crown Street and make an immediate left into the garage. There is construction over there, but the lot is open.)
There is also street parking on George Street, Crown Street past Church Street, parts of State Street, Church Street, and Temple Street.

Accessibility
New Haven Pride aims to be an enjoyable and inclusive experience for everyone. We are actively working to make our street festival accessible to all visitors.
Festival Site & Layout
The festival takes place on public streets and sidewalks. Most areas are paved and flat, but please be aware of occasional uneven paving, curbs, and ramps. All main festival entrances, vendor booths, and viewing areas are wheelchair accessible. Accessible portable restrooms are available. There are many couches and chairs inside the Pride Center at 50 Orange St. that will be available for taking a rest.
Service Animals
Trained service animals are welcome throughout the festival grounds.
Sensory & Loud Spaces
The festival can become crowded and loud, especially near the main music stage. If you or a family member need a break from the stimulation, there is ample seating for taking a break inside the Pride Center at 50 Orange St.
Police Presence
New Haven Pride works with the New Haven Police Department to ensure that the festival is safe for all members of the community.
ASL Interpreter
New Haven Pride will have an ASL interpreter for stage performances.

If you need assistance, have questions, or experience any accessibility barriers during the festival, please reach out to any of our volunteers, who will be on site wearing lanyards with New Haven Pride logo.
