Our Mission

The mission of the New Haven Pride Center is to provide educational, cultural and social enrichment programming and LGBTQ+ competent and trauma-informed services for the LGBTQ+ community to make a positive contribution to the entire community of Greater New Haven and Connecticut.

Our Work

The New Haven Pride Center is one of the leading LGBTQ+ nonprofit agencies in Connecticut and the only organization focused on LGBTQ+ representation in the arts.

All of our work centers on one or more of our core principles: 
  • creating a safe space for case management & support services;
  • bringing people together for shared social experiences;
  • educational activities, awareness building, & youth empowerment;
  • arts, culture & humanities programming; and
  • advocacy for the community.
